Dr. Bassel Kisso is a board-certified gastroenterologist with over 20 years of experience in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He earned his medical degree from Aleppo University Medical School and completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Kisso also holds dual residency training in internal medicine from both Aleppo University and the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine.

Dr. Kisso currently practices at Swan Gastroenterology in Tucson, Arizona, and serves as a Principal Investigator at Del Sol Research Management. Since 2019, he has led or contributed to over 100 clinical trials focused on gastrointestinal and liver health, including ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, NASH/MASH, eosinophilic esophagitis, GERD, gastroparesis, IBS, and colorectal cancer screening.
