Dr. Carl F. Diener is a board-certified internal medicine physician and pulmonary disease specialist with over 50 years of medical experience and more than three decades in clinical research. He currently serves as Principal Investigator and Medical Director at Del Sol Research Management in Tucson, Arizona.

Dr. Diener’s distinguished career includes faculty appointments at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and decades of private practice. Since 1990, he has led or contributed to hundreds of clinical trials across diverse indications, including COPD, asthma, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal conditions, and liver disease, among others.

His extensive research portfolio reflects a deep commitment to advancing medical science and patient care. Dr. Diener is also widely published in peer-reviewed journals, particularly in respiratory and internal medicine.
